There are immediate benefits to being a member with more on the way. Specifically, 

  • Community: Annual Meet & Greet event, Spring cleanup, community projects like trails development, plus access to the membership roster to help you get to know your neighbours.
  • FOCA Membership: Free FOCA membership is included with your AiA membership. FOCA programs provide a wide range of benifits to AiA members.
  • Spring Water Levels. In recent years, high spring water levels in Lake Muskoka have become an all to frequent problem. The AiA keeps our members informed on current water levels each spring through our newsletters and our facebook group. Members will also find links to government contacts and real-time water level data on our website Resources page.
  • Propane, Insurance Savings: AiA negotiated bulk propane pricing directly with 3 key suppliers last season providing significant saving for our participating members. Through our association with FOCA AiA members also have access to property Insurance savings and other FOCA benefits.
  • Island Trails Development: AiA is in active ongoing discussions with island property owners to allow members access to existing private trails and to expand and connect those trails.
  • Road Works: Keep up to date on the District’s road maintenance plans. Your board is engaged with the District to advocate for our membership and keep members informed on traffic restrictions planned for this and future road works.
  • Road Safety: Be a part of or keep informed about our ongoing initiatives to to maintain and improve Road Safety for the community. 
  • Land Use & Development: Learn and become engaged in Land Use & Development in our community.
